We would like to introduce you to Daylight Signs, our latest Worx website to go live!
Daylight Signs are UK signage specialists based in London, Middlesex. They offer a total in-house service for all your property signage & Estate Agent board needs across the whole of the United Kingdom. As well as designing and manufacturing all types of signage, they provide a total location & fixing service across the entire UK. They deliver clients THE most complete and flexible signage creation & installation package, tailored precisely to their needs.
They’re also a great bunch of guys from North London who we’ve really enjoyed working with!
Their original website…
Daylight Signs’ old website was not mobile friendly, had a dated (and slightly garish) design, along with usability issues.
Tony and the team wanted a fresh new design and for the website navigation to be improved to help their customers find the signage products they were looking for.
Due to the competitive market the company operates in, the search engine optimisation of the website was particularly important.
The new website had to:
- Showcase the wide variety of signage products
- Make it easy for potential customers to find what they wanted and get in touch
- Make marketing activities as time efficient as possible, with social media integration in place
Their new website
First off we restructured the website menu and page structure, giving each product it’s own page to help with usability and SEO. We also popped a search box in the menu and used lots of ‘internal links’ to help with navigating the site (and give another SEO boost.)
We plumped for a clean and clear design that incorporated the yellow from their brand. We also included large images of the products, both on the product pages and in a a slider on the home page, to show them off.
We put links to their social media pages in the footer, which look really smart with the yellow. We also linked up the blog so it automatically shares new blog posts to their social media pages, to simplify their marketing activities.
Once the website was live we made sure all the analytics were up and running, tested the contact forms and connected up the social media profiles. I also showed Tony the ‘How Worx websites support your business’ post (read it here) to explain the logic and strategy underpinning Worx websites, and how to make the most of it.
We are looking forward to helping Daylight Signs develop their website over time and seeing it boost their business.
