Eat the street is a premium event catering company with a passion for serving up exciting street food and fabulous feasts. Based in Milland, Hampshire, they mostly cater weddings at a variety of venues across the South East, as well as festivals, private and corporate events of all sizes.
Eat the street needed a website built from scratch, partly to demonstrate their street food catering offering to potential clients who already knew about them, and partly to expand their digital presence and find new leads.
The website design was crucial. It needed to reflect their quirky, fun personality and food while demonstrating their professionalism and ability to cater large scale weddings and events. The website needed to be straightforward to navigate, demonstrate the businesses social media presence, and have facilities in place to capture leads. In their highly competitive industry, SEO was also extremely important, so they needed their site fully optimised and SEO’d to gain traction online asap.
To create an eye catching homepage our designers created unique graphics and images for the client. We devised a navigation system that was straightforward yet beneficial for SEO, and prominently placed the businesses Twitter feed on the homepage to help them increase their follower numbers. Our content team wrote the copy after extensive SEO research, then the SEO guys worked their magic across the entire site.
The site features a MailChimp newsletter sign up box at the bottom of every page, and a blog which they plan to utilise with our help over the next few months. We also provided extra SEO services, organising online directory listings and a variety of social media campaigns to help drive traffic to the site.
